A Dream Way To Access The Finest Music Sources
The NSS 333 is a high resolution streaming solution that supports popular file formats for easy music listening through multiple sources. The classic range is user-friendly with both Naim based inter-product communication, as well as the Focal & Naim app.
NP800 Streaming Card
The NSS 333 utilises Naim's latest NP800 streaming network card, with LVDS balanced digital signals for low noise. Stream internet radio stations, music from Spotify Connect, Apple Music, Tidal (and Tidal Connect), Qobuz (and Qobuz Connect), AirPlay 2, Google Cast, UPnP servers, USB attached storage, Bluetooth AptX, and as the cherry on top, it's also Roon Ready.
Twin Fixed Frequency Master Clocks
The NSS 333 utilises twin fixed frequency (44.1 and 48kHz based sample rates) master clocks for ultra low jitter. It runs in clock master mode for streaming services.
PCM1791A Digital To Analogue Converter
The thoroughness of the DAC implementation is class leading, with a PCM1791A DAC (running in external filter mode) that's followed by discrete transistor Class A op-amps and filters. On top of this, the NS 333 utilises custom polystyrene ultralow dielectric absorption Post DAC filter components.
5.5" Inch Colour Display
Some say we listen first, with our eyes. This is why the Naim NSS 333 has a beautiful 5.5 inch colour display on the front panel, perfect for displaying album artwork, or perhaps the logo of your favourite internet radio station.
Focal & Naim App
With the Focal & Naim app, controlling the NSS 333 is easy. Connect to your playlist or stream content from your smartphone or tablet. The app provides a refreshing way to browse and control your music, while the integrated online music database, Rovi, offers detailed information such as biographies and reviews for similar music recommendations.
Multi-Room Versatility
For a complete home audio experience, you can update your system wirelessly which allows you to control both servers and Naim streaming products, eliminating the need to manage two separate apps. The NSS 333 is also multi-room compatible with all other Naim streaming products.
High End Audio Performance
Naim Classic products offer excellent audio quality with tried and tested components. The NSS 333 has a 40-bit floating point SHARC DSP for precise digital sound. Its front panel is easy to use, and the ZigBee remote can control the system without direct visibility. The system automatically goes into standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity.
ZigBee Control
The NSS 333 can be controlled by a ZigBee RF bi-directional remote control. This means that line of sight is not needed and any volume controls are reflected on the remote itself.
PSU Upgrade
Upgrade the performance of a NSS 333 even further with a NPX 300 power supply via two Burndy cables (one analogue and one digital).
Input Options
The NSS 333 offers optical (toslink), coaxial RCA and BNC for digital input connections - meaning you can bring in a wide-variety of sources into your new Naim streamer.
Network Connectivity
If the installation doesn't allow you to connect to the Ethernet port, then the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac) diversity antennas are the next best option. They're built into the heatsink, so you can say goodbye to plastic aerials that are prone to damage - and hello to thoughtful, beautifully crafted English design and engineering.
