The ND5 XS2 is a versatile player with innovative streaming technology, including high-resolution UPnP streaming, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, TIDAL (including TIDAL Connect), Qobuz (including Qobuz Connect), net radio, multiroom streaming (via the Focal & Naim app) and Roon Ready compatibility.

Naim's ND5 XS2 not only streams high-quality audio files from the internet and local servers, it also has two digital inputs and two optical inputs that support optimal connection to external sources. What's more, there's a front-panel USB port, Bluetooth connectivity and it's a breeze to control via the Focal & Naim app for iOS and Android.
The Latest Network Streaming Card
The ND5 XS2 uses Naim's NP800 streaming card with LVDS (Low-Voltage Differential Signalling) balanced digital signals for incredibly low noise. Add to this the powerful processor that utilises a SHARC 40-bit component - and you have a streamer that's responsive and a joy to use.
Toroidal Transformer
At the beating heart of the Naim ND5 XS2 is an oversized toroidal transformer in the PSU, which not only provides steady power, but also increases its speed of recovery.
Superb Attention To Detail
To further draw attention to Naim's on-going quest for build quality and attention to detail, the ND5 XS2 has microphonic-isolated PCB mounts as well as galvanic isolation of both the control and audio circuitry.
Multi-Room Versatility
Joining the party is simple with the Naim ND5 XS2. As a network connected player, you simply utilise the Naim & Focal app on a iOS or Android device to share music with other Naim network products like the Muso Gen2, NSC222, CI-Uniti 102 and more! Or if you want, you can easily join into whatever other devices are playing, using the same app.
