Naim NAIT 5si Integrated Amplifier
Details
Decades Of Improvement
Decades have passed, but the role of the NAIT 5si is fundamentally the same as its original forebear. So the engineering challenge - to maximise performance whilst maintaining engineering efficiency, quality and reliability, hasn't changed. However - amplifier technology has moved on considerably, and while the NAIT 5si occupies the same position in Naim's range as the original NAIT, it's performance is from a different world.
60 Watts Per Channel
The NAIT 5si delivers 60 watts per channel of high-performance integrated amplification. It engages even the most complex rhythms and demanding dynamics with all the grip and authority you would expect from a Naim.
AV Bypass Mode
NAIT 5si has a clever AV bypass mode, which facilitates an easy co-existence of otherwise distinct AV and Hi-Fi systems.
From 1983 To Today
The NAIT 5si borrows numerous technologies from across the spectrum of Naim products; all dedicated towards maximising its ability to communicate the fundamentals of music. And communicate it does! The NAIT 5si brings clarity, engaging dynamics and, most of all, infectious enthusiasm to every music source and genre... just like the NAIT of 1983.
Well Connected
On the rear of the NAIT 5si integrated amplifier there are four inputs with support for both DIN and RCA connections, while the front sports a 1/4" (6.35mm) headphone output.
Technological Breakthroughs
As you would expect, the NAIT 5si features breakthroughs in audio technology and engineering that result from thousands of hours of development time. The over-sized toroidal transformer offers enough power to handle demanding loudspeakers and recordings. Signal path and circuit design has been carefully optimised to maintain maximum fidelity and each component has been selected through intensive testing, first in the lab and then in the listening room.
Great Sound - Minimum Noise
Great lengths have been taken to minimise unwanted noise and interference too: from the non-magnetic anti-resonance aluminium encasings, to shoulder bolts that are designed to dissipate unwanted vibrations.
