Made In Shirakawa Audio Works - Japan
Approximately 185km northeast of Tokyo, in the Fukushima Prefecture, is the historic city of Shirakawa. At the foot of the volcanic Nasu Mountains you'll find Japan's oldest public park, over 100 restaurants specialising in Shirakawa Ramen, and a city that has become quietly synonymous with cutting-edge audio technology. This vast facility employs around 200 people, a mix of local talent and audiophiles from all over Japan. Many come straight from school, while some have been at the Audio Works since its establishment almost 40 years ago.
Multi-Source, Multi-Room - 3 Zones

Denon Setup Assistant
The award-winning Denon Setup Assistant supplies simple, clear instructions to get you started. Just connect your AV receiver to your display and follow the instructions on the TV screen to connect your speakers, perform speaker measurements, and connect source devices. For additional convenience, the AV receiver renames HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can rename manually at your convenience.
HDMI Connectivity with ARC / eARC
The AVC-X68000H supports the latest technology on all HDMI inputs and two of the three outputs. ARC (Audio Return Channel) or eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) makes playing TV audio through your AV receiver simple with just a single HDMI connection. eARC provides HD and 3D audio transmission such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD Master Audio, and Dolby Atmos while ARC is limited to conventional 5.1ch audio formats or PCM.
8K / HDCP 2.3
Enjoy pristine 8K picture quality on your 8K TV or projector. The Denon AVC-X6800H supports both 8K pass-through and 8K upscaling of 4K content as well as HDCP 2.3, the latest copy protection standard, for peace of mind when streaming copy protected content.
Brilliant Colour From HDR 10+
The AVC-X6800H supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), as well as Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ pass-through. HLG offers HDR technology over broadcast content. Both Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ use dynamic metadata to optimise shadows and highlights and screens change.
Dolby Vision
Compatible with Dolby Vision so you can enjoy Dolby Vision content from a compatible source device and TV. Dolby Vision is a stunning HDR imaging technology that brings extraordinary colour, contrast, and brightness to the screen.
High-Resolution Audio via USB Input

Bluetooth Audio Transmitter

Audyssey Suite of Room Correction Technology
Denon AV receivers use the Audyssey suite of EQ software for simple, accurate setup and calibration. With the supplied Audyssey measuring microphone, Audyssey measures all the speakers in your home theatre, and tunes the AV receiver to provide the smoothest, most optimal overall listening experience for your room. 13-Channel Processing, 11-Channel Amplification
The Denon AVC-X6800H offers 11-channels of amplification, but it doesn't mean you need to stop there... With an external 2-channel amplifier, you can assign it to drive either Front Left and Right speakers, or a pair of height channels. Or perhaps setup an 13-channel speaker configuration for a 9.1.4 cinema, or perhaps 7.1.6 - allowing you even more flexibility from an engulfing spatial audio experience.
Pre-Amplifier Mode
Your Denon AV amplifier can work as a perfect AV preamplifier with the latest HDMI connectivity. Pre-Amplifier Mode provides a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in clipping level by disconnecting internal amplifiers. Add the flexibility to disconnect select speaker channels so that you can use the AV receiver's built-in amplification to drive non-critical channels to get a clearer signal path for the channels driven by external amplification.
Subwoofer Outputs and Settings
Blanket yourself in evenly distributed, accurate bass. Featuring up to four subwoofer outputs to smooth out low frequencies and provide better dispersion. No audible peaks or dips - just powerful, room filling bass. Tweak your subwoofer settings to your preference when more than two subwoofers are connected. Select "Standard" if you want evenly distributed bass performance. Select "Directional" if you want more directional bass performance seamlessly integrated into the speaker channel closest to each subwoofer in the room.

AL32 Processing Technology
AL32 Processing, a Denon proprietary analogue waveform reproduction technology, supports up to 192 kHz sampling frequency and performs a 32 bit expansion on your amplifier. The technology thoroughly suppresses noise associated with D/A conversion to reproduce the low-level signals with optimum clarity that will bring out all the delicate nuances of the music. AL32 Processing Multi-Channel means the technology is applied on all channels and all input sources.
