The Bowers & Wilkins HTM82 D5 is engineered to be the perfect partner for the 800 Series Diamond floor standers in a home cinema system. As the centre channel, it carries the majority of the soundtrack , dialogue, lead vocals, key sound effects , and the HTM82 D5 reproduces all of it with the same reference-quality accuracy as the speakers either side of it.
800 Series Diamond Technology At Its Core
The HTM82 D5 shares the core drive unit technologies of the 802 and 803 D5 floor standers. The Diamond dome tweeter, housed in its own Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top enclosure, is flanked by a 5-inch Continuum™ cone FST™ midrange driver and twin 6.5-inch Aerofoil™ bass drivers , the same combination that makes those speakers so extraordinarily revealing.

The HTM82 D5 is optimised to reproduce the human voice with exceptional clarity and naturalness. Whether it is whispered dialogue in a tense drama or a soaring vocal performance in a concert film, the Continuum™ cone FST™ midrange driver ensures every nuance is heard with complete precision and without a trace of colouration.
Perfectly Matched To Your 800 Series System
Because the HTM82 D5 uses the same drive unit technologies and cabinet construction philosophy as the 800 Series Diamond floor standers, it blends seamlessly into a surround sound system. Sounds move effortlessly from the front left and right speakers across the centre channel and beyond, with no tonal mismatch to break the illusion of a complete soundfield.
Refined For The D5 Generation
Every element of the HTM82 D5 has been refined for the D5 generation. An upgraded Matrix™ bracing design reduces cabinet resonance, while Biomimetic Suspension and Anti-Resonance plug technology further lower distortion and improve dynamic accuracy across the full frequency range.
Available In Two Finishes
The HTM82 D5 is available in Stealth Black and Warm White, each complemented by premium Leather by Connolly trim. The matching FS-HTM dedicated stand is available separately in Black or Warm Titanium for an elegant, purpose-built installation.
