DB Series Performance In The Most Compact Form
The Bowers & Wilkins DB3D brings the core DB Series technologies into the most compact and room-friendly package in the range. Twin 8-inch Aerofoil™ bass drivers in a balanced configuration deliver deep, controlled and musically satisfying bass that belies the DB3D's compact footprint, making it ideal for smaller rooms where the DB1D or DB2D may be too large.
Balanced Dual Driver Configuration
Two 200mm Aerofoil™ bass drivers face each other in a force-cancelling balanced configuration, containing vibration within the cabinet rather than allowing it to transmit into the floor or furniture around it. The result is bass that is tight, clean and detailed, with none of the mechanical noise that can undermine the performance of single-driver designs.
Digital Preamplifier With Dynamic EQ
Like its larger siblings, the DB3D features a sophisticated digital preamplifier with Dynamic EQ that automatically adjusts the frequency response at different volume levels to ensure the bass always sounds natural and balanced. It performs just as convincingly at low late-night listening levels as it does at full volume.
App-Based Setup And BT-LE Control
The DB3D is set up and controlled via the dedicated Bowers & Wilkins app over Bluetooth Low Energy, allowing easy adjustment of level, crossover, EQ and room correction from a phone or tablet. Integration with both simple stereo and complex multichannel systems is seamless and straightforward.
Versatile Connectivity
Full connectivity is provided via balanced XLR, RCA phono, 3.5mm 12V trigger inputs and an RS-232 9-pin D connector, ensuring the DB3D integrates cleanly into any system configuration from a simple stereo setup to a fully integrated custom installation.
Available In Two Finishes
The DB3D is available in Stealth Black and Warm White, allowing it to complement the 800 Series Diamond D5 speakers and blend naturally into any room.
